Hi everyone!  I am sending this out to ALL of my contacts.  If you are not in the Woodstock or Hampton area.....you can probably stop right here.

If you are in these areas, can you help? The youth group at Grace Life Church aka "Ground Zero" is selling plump, juicy fresh-from-the-fields blueberries as a fund raiser for their summer camp.  This is a short, easy win/win situation for everyone.  It provides the freshest source of blueberries to you without you having to go to the field and pick them yourself.  It provides a source of income for the teens to help with their camp fees, and it helps a great family in south Georgia with a blueberry farm the ability to survive.  And even better news, the prices are great!

The berries sell for $6.00 for a 2 lb. carton.  They will be delivered in a refrigerated truck on June 12th to Grace Life Church in Woodstock, and to Atlanta Center on June 13th in Hampton.   All the information you can possibly need is at http://www.bigstufblueberries.com  along with health information on blueberries and a recipe or two.

I know that many of you have already placed your order, and we THANK YOU so much!  What we would like for you to do if you will, is to please pass this information on to your network of email friends in the Woodstock or Hampton areas.  They, too, may love to have some of these, and with the web site, they can place their order with ease.  Payment is not required until you pick them up.

Thank you again for your support of this!  It is truly a great idea to raise funds, and supply a great product to those who love them!

Remember.....www.bigstufblueberries.com

Good health and blueberries to you!

What’s a mom to do with two sons like Jacob and Esau?  Is parenting a love/hate relationship?

Jacob I have loved, but Esau I have hated.” (Romans 9:13)

It will be interesting to see what the Spirit has to say as we look at families and the ways we function (or dysfunction).  Maybe it is not about “better parenting”.  Maybe it is not about better “functioning”.  Maybe this verse is not about predestination.  Hmmmmm…  Let the conversation begin.

Breakfast Club 9a.m… Donuts, Coffee and Conversation 10:30a.m…Worship and Message 11a.m.  Invite a friend…bring a mom!

Hello to everyone!

O.K.  So here’s the thing……the children around Grace Life are AMAZING!  They are smart.  They are creative.  They are kind.  They are energetic.  They keep me young (well, some may not agree with that J).  To watch them discover something new about Jesus and see the light turn on, is something that I feel honored to be a part of.

I am also honored to have some fantastic adults come along side to help plan for our upcoming new ideas and events.  Assuming we will be able to use our extra space for a while, we are planning puppet shows, dramas, music, etc for Sunday mornings utilizing these gracious adults and some of the teenagers as well!  You may have noticed the "Fusion" theme logo on the wall.  It is our family ministry slogan.....Fusion.....Where Grace and Love join together with families!

Whitney Nolan will be leading us through this time of growth and planning and she is so excited.   She has been a key player in the Sunday morning sessions with the older group of kids and we are blessed to have her experience leading the way.

When I was in elementary school, there was an adult who The Lord used to reveal His amazing and endless love for me.  Without that adult’s heart to share Him, I would have had to find Him some other way.  Now, let’s be honest…..God would have used another way….He was NOT going to let me fall through the cracks, but it is such a sweet privilege to be like that adult who revealed Him to me and have a chance for me to share Him with the kids and to see them actually begin to understand that He DOES love them no matter what!  And that they can trust Him no matter what!  And that they were created by Him as an individual masterpiece…no mistakes!

If you feel a pull towards these kids and want to join in, please do not hesitate!  We would love your input as we plan for a whole new look!  And for those already helping, thank you so much!  As you share His love with the kids, share the kid's enthusiasm with others around you!

Get ready for an explosion of youth!

Hello everyone!

I want to give a shout out to all of my friends who love blueberries because the teens at Grace Life Church are selling fresh – straight from the field blueberries this year.  We are taking orders from now until June 5th and the harvest will be delivered to two locations (Woodstock and Hampton) on June 12th and 13th.

These blueberries will be picked and cleaned on a farm in South Georgia and put on a refrigerated truck the next day to be delivered.  They don’t get much fresher than that!  And the price of these blueberries will compete and beat just about any grocery store around.  We are selling them for $6.00 for a 2 lb. carton.  The freshest berries at the best price….Sweet!  (in more ways than one)

To place your order, please go to www.bigstufblueberries.com There you will see more about who we are and why we are offering this to you.  There is an order form available there along with information on health benefits of blueberries, recipes and freezing instructions.  Blueberries freeze amazingly well (and easy) so include enough in your order to freeze some for later.

We are so happy to offer a fundraiser that is a win/win situation.  You get great quality blueberries at a great price and the teens get come cash for their summer camp fees.

Thank you so much for considering this.  And please feel free to forward this offer on to all of your contacts.  The more the merrier!

Once again, place your order at www.bigstufblueberries.com and THANK YOU!

If you have any further questions, you can email me at bigstufblueberries@gmail.com

Thanks again!

Can you think of a time when things didn't work the way you wanted them to work?  When you lost an argument?  When you stopped trying to win and then you saw Jesus?  When Jesus did not give you what you wanted...what you begged for and you are so thankful He didn't give you!  Share that encounter with us all tomorrow on Palm Sunday.

Breakfast Club @ 9am... Coffee, Conversation and Donuts (bagels) @ 10:30... Worship and Message @ 11am.  Invite a friend, it will be a grand morning to hear some really good news and start a great conversation!

I have attached the Grace Notes from last weeks message.
Love,
Herb

Take a look everyone,

As to this salvation, the prophets who prophesied of the grace that would come to you made careful searches and inquiries, seeking to know what person or time the Spirit of Christ within them was indicating as He predicted the sufferings of Christ and the glories to follow.  It was revealed to them that they were not serving themselves, but you, in these things which now have been announced to you through those who preached the gospel to you by the Holy Spirit sent from heaven--things into which angels long to look.  1 Peter 1:10-12

What are these things about your salvation that the angels long to look upon?  This salvation was spoken of by the prophets long, long ago.  This salvation that results in a joy inexpressible…so, lets get together tomorrow and inexpress together.  I have had some very interesting conversations this week.  Maybe I can share them with you.

Easter last week was wonderful.  Remember to pass along that we are in our new location.  Breakfast club at 9am, donuts and coffee at 10:30am, with worship at 11.  Bring a friend or friends, you are the ones the angels are looking at!

Love,

Herb

Hello Everyone:

Herb just called me and asked that I send out a note to you all (I suppose he's just too busy to get to his computer!) to let you know the new building where you (the Church) will meet is ready for us to move into in time for Easter Sunday's service.  The occupancy certificate is in hand and the movers are making the rounds tomorrow morning to begin the tedious, but exciting, moving in process.  So, make sure everyone you know is aware of the change...we don't want anyone showing up at the Rec Center and wondering if they missed the rapture - ha ha ha!

Sunday's service will be a celebration in so many ways.  Of course, we'll celebrate Jesus, and His resurrection Life...and we'll celebrate one another...and on top of that, we get to celebrate our new place to enjoy the experience of being THE CHURCH.  Don't miss it - surely it will be one to remember.

Here's a link for directions to the new building:

The address is:
655 Molly Lane
Woodstock, GA  30189

It's just off I-575, exit 7 West (Hwy 92) just past the Lowe's all the way to the end of the road in the back right hand side of the office complex.

For more information, contact Herb or email us back and we'll do what we can to help.  Hope to see you all there.  Can't wait to see what Jesus has to reveal to us together.

He is Risen!

Laurie (for the moving crew!)

Hello Again Everyone,

David and Ester Lee are having difficulty with financial support.  I normally don't recommend individuals to the church but David and Ester have been revealed as an integral part of the ministry of Grace Connections and Grace Life Church.  We don't have a paid staff but God has moved in bringing missionaries to us that have the freedom to move around the world and help lead the discipleship ministry of Grace Life and Grace Connections.  Along with Laurie and Retha, David and Ester Lee are also missionaries of Grace Connections.  From what I understand he is about a $1000 short due to the devalued Korean currency.  If you can support his ministry large or small it would be great.  David and Ester's ministry is blooming here with Grace Connections.  Korean missionaries are coming this summer for a Ride intensive.  Think about it, the New Covenant message of the Gospel of Christ going out around the world from Christ Life in David and Ester.  If 20 families support $50 a month it will be great...10 at $100...you get the idea.  Grace Life has a world wide ministry that you are a part of...please pray about helping the Lees.   If the Lord leads make your checks payable to Grace Connections with a note as to the support of the Lee family.

Thanks for your consideration,

Love,
